Community Outreach Committee

The community outreach committee is designed for those students who have a strong interest in coordinating community service opportunities and ensuring that BSU develops several external alliances in the greater Houston community.

Fundraising Committee

The fundraising committee is designed for those students who seek to help the organization in its generation of funds to help support all BSU operations.

Marketing Committee

The marketing committee is designed for those students who seek to promote media content consistent with fundamental BSU goals keeping African-American students actively engaged in both their campus, academic, and greater Houston community.

Programming Committee

The programming committee is designed for those students who seek to create programs that will manifest the five principles (Unity, Leadership, Student Engagement, Cultural Consciousness, and Community Camaraderie), enhance the social life of students on campus, and serve as a mechanism to teach students about their culture.
